It has been so much fun to have a baby at the same time as a good friend. It has been even more fun to watch them grow up together and start to develop their own friendship. Of course, with most 2 year olds, there is the fighting over toys, one is sitting too close to the other, or one feels likes a hug and the other doesn't. But I can see these two in 13 years - instead of sharing a book, it will be a magazine, nail polish, and clothes. There will be giggly phone conversations, sleep overs, and taking them to one movie while Jessica and I see another.
